Hello All,
As I have not very good German reading skills I do appreciate the work done here on this forum and am asking for help.
I have my 3xGGM Wilhelmine Sahs geb. Jaeger Death record 1886, on there my 2xGGF Hermann Sahs reports she is the daughter of the Lehrer, Gustav Jaeger from Gross Gratz.
I found on ancestry a marriage for a Pauline Wilhelmine Renata Jaeger to Ignatz Meller in Mewe in 1839, there are a number of matching items that lead me to think that this could my 3XGGM
1) Birth year 1816, 2) Mewe, is noted on death cert, 3) fathers ort Gr Graz, similar on death cert.
The fact or text I would like to have confirmed from the marriage entry is the part all about her father Georg Gotlieb Jaeger especially does it read "Schulehrer" as I see it, because some have suggested may be "verstorben" or can not read clearly enough to give an answer.
Hoping someone can have a closer look at the text on the marriage entry.
It is the 4th entry down in the village of Thyman?
I realize the fathers vorname is not the same on the marriage but there is the possibility that the reporter did not know the correct vorname.
Regards
Ian
