Hallo Thomas,
thank you for your new messages.
I believe Christine is currently on her well-deserved annual vacation. She last logged in here on August 6.
1.) Frankfurt am Main.
Parts of the city's population register have been preserved.
The link is here. On the page, you need to look at the section entitled “Registration documents.”
The address for ordering copies is here.
2.) Berlin Lindenstraße 111.
Today, the Berlin State Archives only contain a card index created after 1945. This means that it is no longer possible to find evidence of anyone who lived in Berlin between 1900 and 1906 and did not have their own household. People with their own households are listed in the directories. You can look at the Berlin directories yourself. - here. and here you have the heads of households in Berlin, 1900, Lindenstraße 111.
3.) Anitas birthplace
OK, not in Wernigerode and surroundings.
Berlin - as far as I know, Berlin's civil registry records were preserved in their entirety. This is actually inconceivable when you consider the state of the city in May 1945. The birth records of Berlin are available online at Ancestry. Anita is not listed there.
What about Danzig, or where did Leo's parents live after 1900?
Regards
Werner
