you could ask in this forum, if someone has an appointment in the braunschweig archive and would look up the birth registration of your ancestor. But the one who offers to help, would need an exact birthdate, so that he does not have to search too long! So maybe to get this exact date, you should try to get his death registration in denmark and maybe you will find his exact birthdate on it.
