Hello
I am newbie on this forum and in this topic, so my question below can be a little bit trivial for you as a Germans.
Two years ago I found digitalised archive in Opava in which I discovered 200 relatives. What is more, some weeks ago, during surfing through that archive, I found Card Indexes. (Example in attachement). Number of cards which present my realtives who were exiled in 1946 is 17. Even thought our common ancestor was born in 1720 (my ancestor leave Sudetenland in 1850 and settled down in the area of present Poland) I would like to find them.
So... I have a question:
1. Is this any chance of finding them in some databases? associations?
I am suspecting that because of "personal data protection" it is impossible to search in parish metrics e.g. Bavaria (main point of migration) which are undoubtedly actually non-published.
