Bei diesem Testamen benötige ich erneut etwas Hilfe:

Was ich lese:
I, Claus Luschen of the County of Cole in the State
of Missouri do make and publish this my last will
and Testament. I give and bequeath to my wife, So =
phia Luschen her heirs and assigns all my estaded
situate in the County of Cole and State of Missouri, that
is to say. The North East quarter of the North East quar =
ter of …… thity four (34) Township forty seven (47)
Range thirteen (13) entaining forty acres ….
less. To have and to hold the same to her the said So =
phia Luschen, Her heirs and ……………
And I further declare and pay that my wife Sophia
Luschen shall after my death …… the Interestt …..in
…… amounting Six hundred Dollars in
U.S. Currency which paid money is deposited by me
with the Jefferson City Saving Institution (?)
and State …… And after the death of my wife
Sophia Luschen the …….. named amount of Six
hundred Dollars in U.S. Currency shall be paid …….
to the children of my ……… Brother Johann Hein =
rich Luschen in Hude District Gander(kesee) ?
Grand Duchy of Oldenburg. The names of the chil =
of my Deceased brother Johann Heinrich Luschen
I do not know. And lastly as to the rest residence and
remainder of my personal estate whats over after
payment all my last Depts I ….. and bequeath
the same to my ……….. Wife Sophia Luschen when I
hereby ……. my sole ………..of this my last
will and Testament.

situate in the County of Cole and State of Missouri, that
is to say. The North East quarter of the North East quar =
ter of Section thirty four (34) Township forty four (44)
Range thirteen (13) containing forty acres more or
less. To have and to hold the same to her, the said So =
phia Leshner, her heirs and assigns forever.
And I further declare and say that my wife Sophia
Leshner shall after my death receive the Interest on
money amounting to Six hundred Dollars, in
U.S. Currency, which said money is deposited by me
with the Jefferson City Savings Institution, County
and State aforesaid. And after the death of my wife
Sophia Leshner the above named amount of Six
hundred Dollars in U.S. Currency shall be paid over
to the children of my Deceased Brother Johann Hein =
rich Leshner in Hude District Ganderkem,
Grand Duchy of Oldenburg. The names of the chil =
of my Deceased brother Johann Heinrich Leshner
I do not know. And lastly as to the rest, residue, and
remainder, of my personal estate whatsoever after
payment of all my last Debts I give and bequeath
the same to my beloved Wife Sophia Leshner whom I
hereby appoint my sole executrix of this my last
will and Testament.

NB: In dieser Abschrift wird der Name überall nicht Luschen, sondern Leshner (ausser ganz oben Lesher) geschrieben - deshalb wohl nicht in der Suchmaske bei Ancestry zu finden.

Aufgrund der Katasterbeschreibung war seine Farm diese: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ahb6X4c6yDCHGoB58
Laut einer Landbesitzerkarte von 1914 (bei Ancestry) gehörte sie zu dem Zeitpunkt einem John Kautch Sr.

Danke Carl-Henry,
wo das Grundstück und die kleine Farm verblieben sind, ist mir nicht ganz klar.
Im Testament der Witwe taucht sie nicht mehr auf.
Die Ehe war kinderlos und beide sind erst im Alter von 50 Jahren ausgewandert.


Ich versuche da noch etwas zu finden.

Mittlerweile habe ich auch den ursprünglichen Kauf gefunden - Claus Luschen hat die mehr oder weniger 40 Acres am 6. Juli 1859 von Andrew Beetz und seiner Frau für $425 gekauft.
