Hello again,

This is a marriage record from 1862, record 123 at the bottom of the page. I think the father of the bride is Friedrich Zaun and she was born on 25 Feb? 1815. Married on 30 Jun 1862 ?

The document looks a little odd to me, the year listed is 1861 but has records for june/july of 1862 ? as well as 2 page number 42 and 20. In the book this page is right after 19, so I'm not sure what the 42 means. (other than the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything)

I like to think I'm getting at least a little better at deciphering these old documents but I think I'm just fooling myself. Thank you very much for you time, it really is a great service you're providing and a big help to me.

This page contains records from summer 1861 to summer 1862; there is no mistery about it, I think.
Valid Pager number must be the written one (42), not the printed one (20). This statement is correct, if on (printed) page 19 you find a written "41".

I just went back to look, pages 1 to 19 only have the printed numbers. Printed page 20 has a written 42, printed page 21 has a written 43:44, printed page 22 has a written 44:45 and printed page 23 has a 45. All pages after 23 only have the printed number, so I'm not sure when they mean.

I did check pages 42 threw 45 and there is nothing special about them.

I'm not sure if you have an account to Archion or not (its the pay for archive that I'm searching the documents on) but if you do this is the book to see other pages. If not and you would like to see the other page numbers I could put an image together for you to see.

Does that mean, pages 42 to 45 do exist twice - written (originally printed 20 to 23) and just printed?
But any case, I've no explanation.
