Where any reference shows that Christoph Jackel is dead?

I did not identify any word. I need to know because I have some informations about Christoph Jackel in 1710, but if he was dead before 1698, the informations are about his son with the same name.

Grünewaldt, Mit Jungf[rau] Judith, Caspar Fleischmans
Tochter von Lautschney, Zeugen: Niclaß Preusler, und
Hanß Fleischman.

"Georg, seelig Cristoff Jäckels Sohn" means
"Georg, son of the late (=dead) Cristoff Jäckel".
There's no doubt Cristoff Jäckel was dead in 1698.
