Hallo!
I do not speak or read German, but need some help with church records. Currently I am transcribing some from Tetenbüll from the 1600s right now mostly, to put up on a website I have. Is there someone here who knows English and will help me on questions I have? I will have some pictures....
Some look like S_hl. (not knowing what the missing letter/s is/are) and some look like S_l. and some like Sl.
They all appear either between the woman's name and the father's names as what seems to be a title for the man or on other records (like a death register) as a title for the man.
Does anyone know what these are abbreviations for?
