I have 2 baptisms here from 1566 and 1568 and would appreciate confirmation as to the names of the children baptised. Barbara, Agnes???

The first entry of 1566 was read correctly (Barbara), but the second one wasn´t!

1566:

Freythag Nach Ostern Ist Michael König und Agnes seyner
hausfrawe deren beider dochter Barbara geboren und gethaufft
patrina Agnes Baubin

1568:

Mittwoch nach Philipi und Jacobi Ist Michel König und
Agnes seyner hausfrawen deren beider dochter geboren und in
der heylig Tauff Walburg genannt, patrina Fr Barbara

I have attached another larger copy to show the baptism above, does this give a day of baptism?

Here is a larger copy of the 1566 baptism of Barbara König.. Does this or the entry above give a day of baptism There are many words I have not come across before.

Hello Gary,

Easter 1566 was April 14. so Barbara was born Friday (Freytag) April 19.


Philipp and Jacob is May 3rd, that was Monday so Walburg was born May 5. 1568
