A question, what does the adjective "Königlich" refer to? I understand that it is "royal" but it is an adjective about Sobotka, right?

The Dabie area had recently been gained by Prussia in the 1793 partition to Poland, is there a reference to it being a "royal territory" or something?

I ask this because it caught my attention this marriage, this Martin Rosin (dead) was the owner of his land? "Wirth" is "Innkeeper"?

I have a direct ancestor named Martin Rosin at that time in Sobotka with a similar age to someone who had his first daughter in 1779, but mine was alive in 1799.

Plus there were Falkenberg's in Sobotka, so a marriage between Rosin and Falkenberg in Sobotka could be expected.

Sorry for perhaps asking stupid questions but I don't want to get lost in the translation, thank you.

It also says once königlich /royal and once geistlich /spiritual Sobotka. Unfortunately, I can't help you there.

"geistlich" and "königlich" refers to the ownership of two parts of Sobotka, perhaps a bishop and a baron.

I know of a village in Silesia that had a "königlich" part (owned by a "Freiherr") and a "herzoglich" part (owned by a duchess).

There were 2 villages with the name Sobotka within the Lutheran parish of Wladyslawow (and later also Dabie).
Current names:

1) Sobótka (powiat kolski) = in the church records they sometimes wrote „geistlich Sobotka“. The reason for this was that the land on which Sobótka was founded had belonged to the Catholic Church like Grabina Wielka as well. This village Sobótka is the place where your ancestors Rosin lived.

2) Sobótka now Stara Sobótka (powiat łęczycki) = in the church records named „königlich Sobotka“. The reason for this was that the land around Sobótka had belonged to the King of Poland.
