Hello All, many thanks for your time. If someone could read and translate please.
Best I can do is Liebss?? Emmy.

I have this copy of a post card to my GrossTante Emmy but do not have a copy of the front but may be able to match it if I know what is written on the card.
I am trying to at least document items before they are lost to time and no one knows what is what. My mother (92yrs) now has dementia and is unable to read her mother tongue anymore and help with identifying photos etc.

Did you read about H. Plikert. He had an accident with his car. He is in the hospital, rib fractures and a bruise. Greetings from your parents and siblings.

Very interesting but unable to find a photo that would match the text, at least not one with children that look like they are waiting?

Emmy's family lived in Taplacken,krs,Wehlau, not that far from Wehlau,krs,Wehlau as I assume Wehlau Markt is in or nearby the town.

Emmy was the oldest of all her siblings and emigrated to USA in 1914 so the card has to be before then and they talk of a car accident already but that would have been big news then.
"Die Kinder liefen jedesmal wenn es läutete" I guess they are referring to the telephone, I think they would have had one as Emmy's father (my Uhrgrossvater) was the Oberpostschaffner in Taplacken.

Hallo Marina,
da wirst Du wohl Recht haben, denn der Name Bindschus war in Ostpreußen und auch Wehlau recht häufig. Aber wo ist das "C" im Familiennamen auf der Karte?
