I´m new here, and not sure where to write my question, so sorry if i´m wrong.
I´m looking for wedding of my great grandfather Josef Matura. He should marry Augusta Liddy Rothe in Chemnitz 9.10.1904. Josef Matura is catholic and Augusta Liddy Rothe evangelishe luther.


Is it possible to find their wedding record online?

Hello Michala,

as far as I am aware, there are no online records (at least not the civil ones).
It looks like the registers are being held by the city archive of Chemnitz these days (the duplicate registers may be held by the state archive of Saxony). Write an email to this address: stadtarchiv [at] stadt-chemnitz.de, state your request and give them the data you have. It might cost around €15 to get that copy.
