Broese surname in Sachsen-Anhalt

Ernst G. Broese my GG Grandfather was born 17 August 1829 in Elster of Johann G. & Johanne C. (Lenz) Broese. I don't know anything else about Johann and Johanne. If anyone has any additional information and would like to share it with me, I would appreciate it.

I would love to see what information you have on the Broese genealogy. My G Grandmother Maria (Mary) migrated from Elster (Jessen) in the Wittenberg province in 1881 along with her parents and siblings. Her father was Ernst Gottlob Broese who was born 17 August 1829 in Elster. Mary's mother was Caroline Lehmann who was born 4 Feb. 1834. Ernst's parents were Johann Gottfried Broese and Johanna (Johanne) Lenz. I do not have any other information on them except that Johann and Johanna had 6 children.
I would appreciate any help you may be able to give me.
