I am trying to find any information about my grandfather Anton Kathke born 1887 Plaskau Tuchel ( Poland ) he lived in Duisburg from 1905 untill his death in 1965. He married my grandmother ( Agnieszka Czerwinska ) in 1915 at St Ewaldi Church Duisburg Laar.

Any help will be appreciated.

The former town Tuchel, is renamed as Czluchow.
Unfortunatly I'm not shure, if the village Rychnowy is the same former place named as Plaskau.
I believe some body is inside the forum, to confirm this.

The last address where my grandfather lived and died was Froebelstrasse 15 , 47053 Duisburg . This was a Catholic home for unmarried persons - he lived there from 1953 - 1965. This home has been demolished now but I would like to contact anyone who remembers either the home or may have known my grandfather Anton Kathke.

Adalbert Czerwinski born 18.02.1915, lived Hultschiner Str. 28 in Duisburg, he died 24.07.1944.
Johann Czerwinski born 28.09.1924, lived Steinbrinkstr. 112 in Duisburg, he died 08.04.1945.
Josef Czerwinski born 18.01.1908, lived Fröbelstr. 57 in Duisburg, he died 15.01.1942.

Thank you for the link .I do have the information on Alois Kathke, given to me by his son, who I correspond with regularly. There is a particular branch of the Kathke family tree, related brothers and sisters of Alois that I have been trying to trace for more than 2years. They are on one world tree , see attached link, contacts unknown. It gives their addresses as :-

I have information for them re. Kathke ancestors plus an old photograph that could help link their family history with mine.

My Czerwinski family originate from Lipa Ludomy in Poland. My grandmother Agnieszka died in Lipa 1928. She had been estranged from my grandfather since the birth of my father Jan Anton Kathke in Duisburg Laar 1915.

Do you know of any records that could assist me.

Hello,
I'm also searching for Kathke Family. I'm searching for Arnold Arthur Oswald Kathke, born 8.4.1889 in Czekzin, Kreis Tuchel and his father Wilhelm Kathke (died 1941 in Bagnitz, Kreis Tuchel). Wilhelm married Pauline Karau.

About Tuchel and Plaskau:
Tuchel now named Tuchola (Czluchow would be formaly named Schlochau!!).
Plaskau will be a part of Tuchola (http://gov.genealogy.net/ShowObjectS...d=PLAKAUJO83XO).
