Wayant in Friedrichsdorf re-1800

Please forgive me; I do not read or write German.

Johann Pierre Wayant, died in Koln Germany 24 May 1851. Per the death certificate on the Historiches Archives Koln web site, he was born in Friedrichsdorf, Hesse, son of Jacob Wayant & Juliana Bruhl. He emigrated to Boudry, Neuchatel, Switzerland, where he married Johanna Magdelena Desslert (am still looking for the Swiss records).

I have not been able to locate on line records for Friedrichsdorf, although the family tree is in on line at familysearch.org. Am very interested in finding the origins of the first Wayant in Friedrichsdorf, Jean Henri Wayant. Per a Norman french historical journal published in the 1880s, Friedrichsdorf was established in the 1600s as a haven for French Huguenot refugees. Jean Henri Wayant was the first German to take residence there around 1730. The article's author apparently looked at an old chronicle in the Mayor's office. Does this chronicle still exist? If so, does it give the place that Jean Henri Wayant came from?

There is book existing like a local family book in Friedrichsdorf, I found the names of Johann Pierre Wayant, Jacob Wayant, Juliane Brühl and Jean Henri Wayant.
