    Hello all,

I am searching for the parents of Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Klewe/Kleve, my great great grandfather, who was born 16.06.1824 in Fleith/Briesen/Gerswalde.

Also the parents of his wife, Charlotte Wilhelmine Porth, born in Gollmitz 09.01.1825.

Johann & Charlotte were married in about 1848.(In Milmersdorf perhaps)

    Hello,

Gollmitz is in Posen, best bet probably is to get your hands on these films:

    Gerswalde is online here:

However there is also a Briesen in Posen. Where have you been searching already ? Ancestry?

      Wilmersdorf

      G'day,

Milmersdorf is obviously a misreading. There is a Wilmersdorf, now part of Briesen (Mark) in Landkreis Oder-Spree in the province of Brandenburg. Go to https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilmer...(Briesen_(Mark)) and find out more about this place.

I think that "your" Gollmitz is also in Brandenburg, to be more precise in the Uckermark, now belonging to the Gemeinde Nordwestuckermark.
Gollmitz in the former province of Posen (now Poznan) in Poland is too far away.

      Greetings

Es gibt sehr wohl ein Milmersdorf Kr. Templin. Dort wo auch Gerswalde, Flieth und Briesen liegen. Evangel. KB sind dazu aber noch nicht online, evtl. Duplikate bei Familysearch?

Sadly Flieth books are not available earlier than 1856
