Haffner/Heffner family from Ulm or Nerenstetten-Emigration from to America 1747

Hello everyone, I am researching my anscestors Christoph Haffner (Hafner, Haffners, Hefner, etc) ca 1688.. His wife was Barbara Earthen (Ertlin) and they emigrated from the Ulm area of Wurttemberg with three children and settled in Maryland. I'm just trying to learn more about them, if anyone has any information. I believe Christoph was a master Potter and his sone Melchior was a Gesel. I wish I had more information to share. I hope someone can help! Thank you!

On familysearch you can find a baptism entry for Christoph Haffner from January 9th, 1688 Ulm.
The parents are Hans Christoph Haffner and Margaretha Huber.

Amos already provided you with some data concerning Christoph Haffner and Barbara Örtle.

Christoph Haffner was a cooper, as was his father Johann Melchior and his grandfather Johann (Hans) Haffner.
Barbara Örtles father Johann was a furrier as was her grandfather Johann Örtle.

Johann Jakob Huber (father of Christoph Haffners mother Margareta Huber) was born in Weiningen (Switzerland).

Documents from the Protestant parishes in Baden-Württemberg can be viewed at www.archion.de. However, registration is required, and the platform is subject to a fee.

The couple had at least three sons and two daughters
