Meyer Stettin circa 1840

Ich versuche, keine deutschen Mitglieder meines Urgroßvaters Familie Meyer aus Stettin Spur. Er war MAX EMIL geboren ca. 1842 in Stettin. Sein Vater war JOHANN CHRISTIAN MEYER, die einen Kommissär war. Max Meyer emigrierte nach London, UK um 1860. Alle Antworten in Englisch wäre sehr zu begrüßen.

I also have ancestors in Stettin and Stargard.
As I know, you can find microfilms of the stettin churchbooks and other documents under www.familysearch.org (it´s in english; look under "search records / library catalogue / place search). The microfilms can be loaned at many "Family history centers".
If you don´t know the birth date and the church he is baptized, you have to search in all church records, but there is a real chance to find his dates.
