Hello Chris Boening,

My name is Rich Germann. I live in Dayton, Ohio.

We are researching some of the same people, it seems, therefore, maybe we are related? Anyway, I saw some of your messages on this messageboard and noticed you were from USA. I have a fairly large Germann family tree, with information tracing back to about 1673 in Löhlbach, Pfalz, Germany. I am of course trying to extend that too. The Abert Friedrich Otto Germann from Cleveland, as mentioned in the message from Michael1965, was a 3rd cousin of mine. He died in 1974. He was however, the creator of our family tree. He was a professor for many years, studied in Berlin, taught in Switzerland, and combed through the family records before WWI and WWII to create a fairly far reaching family tree. I have added a lot to it over the years though ancestry.com, newspaper obituaries, and various available books. Maybe we can share info.
