Thank you so much for the help. On the marriage record for Johann Gommer it does list his parents as C. Gommer and Minnie Baird? I will look into all of your suggestions and see if i can find more information. Are there any websites or databases that list birth or marriage records for Germany. I am new to German genealogy and am unfamiliar with areas of research.
