    Lehr-Turnbull

I am trying to find out what happened to the two sons of Christian Lehr and Edith Turnbull.
Christian Gavin Paul August Armin Lehr was born 16 October 1885, Berlin.
Arthur Carl Eduard Lehr was born 11 August 1887, Wetzlar.
Both were in the military 1914-1918 but I cannot locate Armin after that.
Edith Ella Lehr died in Halle, Sachsen-Anhalt, 4 March 1942. The informant was Eduard Lehr. I cannot locate Eduard after 1942.
Any advice on how to trace Armin and Eduard after 1918 would be appreciated. Replies do not need to be in English, if that is easier for you.
    Thanks

    Hi Daryl,

    me again.
I think I found Armin in Munich directory 1965:
    Lehr Armin, Kreisbaurat a.D. , Nordendstr. 56 (4)
    still there in 1967

I don´t know about the content of files found at https://invenio.bundesarchiv.de/invenio/main.xhtml for Lehr, Armin

Eduard in Halle dir 1946/47 still in Schillerstr. 48
    in 1950:
    Lehr Eduard, Angestellter, Schillerstr. 48
    -- Ursula, Fotolabor., Schillerstr. 48

      Kia ora Thomas,
Many thanks. It looks like both Armin and Eduard survived the war, which was not always guaranteed given that their 3xgreat-grandfather was Rabbi Aaron Hart in London.
Thanks, I have some leads to follow up.
Armin, Eduard, and their mother, Edith Ella, went to Switzerland after Edith's divorce. Later they returned to Germany. I have just noticed that the military records indicate that their mother was in Luzerne ....
      Thanks again Thomas
