I am searching for the roots the of Johann Henrich Stein and Anna Sertin or Jertin. They have a son: Leonhardt Stein, born 23 april 1767 in Niederdorfelder uber Bad Vilbel.

He moved to Steenderen (provence: Gelderland) in The Netherlands where he was registered as a pensioned soldier. He married as a 57 years old a girl of 21 years old and they got 8 children.

Hope that someone can help me to find out more about this family. In The Netherlands I found a lot of information. I miss information about them when they were living in Germany.

The protestant church books of Niederdorfelden onwards are available on the German church book site www.archion.de. There is a church book of the reformed church from 1693 to 1830. However, I did not find the baptism of Leonhardt Stein there. The available Lutheran church book on the Archion website starts only in 1784, also too late to find the 1767 baptism.
