Emigration to England 1830/50's

Hi Everyone,
Researching wife's family history and am wondering if there are any records of emigration from Posnen (Kolmar) to England (Schultz name) during the 1840/50's or thereabouts.

Are you talking about the county of Kolmar/Chodziez or the town itself?

If there are any records, chances are they are stored in the state archive for the voivodeship Greater Poland in Poznan.

The best bet is to determine first the prename, the birth year (age at death) and the religion of the ancestor.
Then you can put a question to the archive of Poznan in Poland. ("Archiwum Państwowe w Poznaniu")
They have the vital records of the Evangelical people of the city of Kolmar (polish: Chodzież)
