Emigration from Switzerland-1600's
Greetings! Can anyone tell me if there are online records for an ancestor who left Herisau, Switzerland and went to Weisenheim am Sand (Palatinate) in Germany? His name was Thebes sometimes written as Debus Frischknecht and he married in Weisenheim am Sand in 1676. I do not know his age or parents' names unfortunately. I thought if I could find his emigration record, it might give me his age at least. Thank you for any help! (I did look on FamilySearch for him, but there were a number of Debus Frischknechts listed.)

I don't think that any emigration records from Herisau of that time are available online. But the parish records of Herisau (and other places in the Canton Appenzell Ausserrhoden) are available online.
