    Fredrik Jansz Redeker(Lipland/Pruyssen)/Maria Stondebeek(Osnabruck/Ankum) 1730-1765

Fredrik Jansz Redeker and Maria Stondebeek moved to Medemblik in The
Netherlands. Children of them were born there between 1763 and 1779.
According to marriage certificates of their children Frederik came from
Amt Onninghusen in Lipsland and in another one he came from Pruyssen.
Maria came from Osnabrugge and in another certificate from Ankum.
The were Catholic. They had a daughter called Aaltje who was not born
in Medemblik. Aaltje was born 1760-1763(she became mother in 1807).
In one marriage certificate of Aaltje in 1785 her mother was Maria Hols and
in another marriage certificate in 1804 her mother was Maria Stondebeek.
    Marriage Fredrik/Maria 1755-1763?
Birth Fredrik 1730-1745? and Maria 1735-1745?
Witnesses at birth children from Fredrik and Maria were Johannes Freeks
(Maybe father of Fredrik?) and Catharina Stondebeek(sister Maria?).
I have found some Redekers but from the wrong religion.
I have found some Stondebeekes in Steinfeld but no Maria Stondebeek.

    Hello,

maybe you will find Maria (and perhaps her marriage) here:

Steinfeld does not belong to Osnabrück,it belongs to the district of Vechta.

      Hi Andy,

I would assume that Friedrich Johann(?) Redeker came from Amt Oerlinghausen (Lippe).
So he actually should be lutheran. Churchbooks are available at archion.de (requires payment). Maybe you could ask someone here in this forum (https://forum.ahnenforschung.net/forumdisplay.php?f=53) to look for Redeker in Oerlinghausen.

Stuntebeck (several spellings) are quite frequent in and probably originating from Steinfeld (catholic) or surroundings:
Abschriften Index Trauungen - AS-Index-TR | Steinfeld, St. Johannes Baptist | Vechta, r.k. Offizialatsarchiv | Deutschland | Matricula Online (matricula-online.eu)
Abschriften Index Taufen - AS-Index-TA | Steinfeld, St. Johannes Baptist | Vechta, r.k. Offizialatsarchiv | Deutschland | Matricula Online (matricula-online.eu)

I haven't found this name in Ankum indices. But maybe take a look yourself.

Do you know anything about the profession of this family?

      Regards,

      Thomas

Thanks for your reactions Mara and Thomas.
According to church records in The Netherlands Fredrik and Marijtje are both catholic.
I allready looked in Archion and Matricula in several places but no sign of them.
Maybe they were not baptized when they were born but just before they married.

Only 1 Stondebeek in Ankum but no Maria/Marijtje.
Several Stondebeekes in Steinfeld but no Maria/Marijtje.
Maybe Maria lived in Ankum and Osnabruck but was not
          born there.

Maybe i found something in Damme St. Victor in Matricula.
            Weddings 1723-1788 page 90.
Wedding Frederik Rieke/Anna Maria Stuntenbecke 18-04-1762.
Can someone tell what the translation is of the words in Latin.

              Hi Andy,

this might be an important finding.
              The record says:
"Fridericus Rieke ex comitatu lippensi ad catholicam fidem hic in Damme conversus, Anna Maria Stuntenbecke"
That means that Frederic/Friedrich from the county of Lippe became catholic in Damme. So, he must have been baptized in a reformed parish in Lippe, maybe Oerlinghausen.

              Regards,
              Thomas

Somebody in The Netherlands told me that the parents of Fredrik Jansz Redeker
were Johann Heinrich Redeker and Anna Maria Niemoller who were married on
14-11-1730 in Gutersloh. Johann Heinrich Redeker was Millar.
Does anyone know if this is true?
