Thank you so much for your kind help, it would be wonderful if you could look up in the archives, I'll write you a private messege with my mail so if anything turns up, you can send me one.
I'm in contact with the person that runs the Tecklenburger Land website, until now nothing came up.
My ancestors where all protestants, if that helps.
    Thank you once again

    Hallo, zusammen!

"unfortunately there are no church records on archion available for Osnabrück 1623"

    @Conita:
    I asked the users:

That doesn't necessarily mean that there is nothing in the Protestant church register archive in Osnabrück itself, does it? - Okay, the question is more whether there are still records for this time anyway
One should still know the parish . The "selection" is not that big; the Katharinenkirche comes into question, the Marienkirche too

When the archives are open in early December, I will have a "to-do list" for church book archives and can look it up.

There is a special community regarding "Tecklenburger Land"

Maybe they can help? - I'm sure, questions in English will be answered.

Wow Doro, you have been so helpful it's amazing! Thank you!!!
I was asking regarding Archion because someone told me that the church records of Onsbrück where there. But, if you think that maybe there's possibilities in other website I would gladly read the sugestions.
I don't have much on Johannes's father, Lambert and on his grandfather Lübbert (apparently born in Voltlage). Any kind of information that you can maybe get, would be truly appreciated.
I thank you once again for your help

      Hi scheuck,

mir ging es nur um Archion.de, weil speziell danach gefragt wurde. Ob in den Archiven noch Dokumente schlummern kann ich nicht beantworten, weil es nicht mein Forschungsgebiet ist.

      @conita:

I just wrote it done (maybe someone else is able to translate it):

      Summary:

      • died 17th of april 1680
      • lutheran
      • lost his father, Lambert Polemann, early
      • lived with his mother from 1628-1633 far from Osnabrück
      • he went back to the lutheran Osnabrücker Rathsschule, because it reopend 1. May 1634

        hi conita,
        you are welcome.
It is correct there are indeed church records of Osnabrück, but there is nothing for the year 1623.
You can check it youself: https://www.archion.de/en/search/
put "Osnabrück" (without quotation marks) into the field "TEXT", mark DIGITALLY AVAILABLE, everything else leave blank and than click on search-button.

        ------------------------- Part 1 -------------------------
I do not know if this could help you in the future:

H(e)inrich Polemann was a "Bürgermeister in Stadthagen (Schaumburg, Niedersachsen)" (+before 1552)
        wife: Hille Polemann b. Rhode (+before 1552)

        children:
        • daughter: Anna Poitmann b. Polemann (Poldemann) (* ca. 1512 Stadthagen - ?)
        • daughter: Engel b. Polemann (*ca. 1525 Lübeck - +1584) oo Cord Frige (Fricke)
dauther of Engel and Cord was Catharina Mensching b. Frige (Fricke)
        • daughter: Margarete b. Polemann oo (about 1530 Stadthagen) Cord Smeckevorst, genannt (named) Wietersheim
son of Margarete and Cord was Anton von Wietersheim

        ------------------------- Part 2 -------------------------
Also found this, but I do not know how this "Stammtafel/Ahnentafel" works.

        ------------------------- Part 3 -------------------------
        Further more I found:

        Name: Lambert (Lambertus) Polemann (Polemannus)
        Matriculation: 4. Mai 1615
        Herkunft: Osnabrück / Osnaburgensis

          Update:

I sent a mail to Kirchenbuchamt Osnabrück and asked for available churchbooks +/- 1628 regarding Marienkirche and Katharinenkirche.

The archive employees do home office at the moment and promised to look up their real stocks on Thursday. - Let's cross fingers!

            Hi everyone,

I'm sorry . The "Church-Book-Lady" answered and told us there are no church-books regarding Osnabrück +/- 1628, none micro fishes either. - Gaps are known.

She also asked at Landesarchiv Hannover and has been told all existing books have been digitalized and sent to Archion.

She gave the advice to ask the parishes (Marienkirche/Katharinenkirche) directly; I did and got the same answer .
            Herzliche Grüße

Having church records digitalized and sent to Archion doesn't necessarily mean that they are online the very next day! In the archive of the Braunschweiger Landeskirche I saw digitalized church records of high-end quality. I never came across something like that before. So I asked the staff for the reason why the "common people" won't have access to that records on Archion yet. It's just a question of time, they answered. Little bit annoying...

                    Well, consanguineus ...

unfortunately there isn't anything regarding Marienkirche and/or Katharinenkirche for the period in question. - So nobody will be able to digitize, create micro-fiches or sent data to archion. Not next week, not in 10 years either.

That's the sad story they told me ( and we have been speaking in German )

                        YES, indeed, (frustrating).

Maybe these books were really lost before 1648 due to the war. - Not only the peace was made in Osnabrück (and Münster), we have been right in the middle.
