Is there anywhere to purchase OFBs and/or court records?

Hello!

Is there anywhere I can purchase these? My genealogist that I hired in Germany says that my 7th great grandfather was not born in Mellingen since he was married in 1700 and their records only go back to 1651 and he doesn’t have a birthdate listed so he may be from another town.

He suggested that I start looking “for a needle in a haystack” via other OFBs and court records. I started by coming through every available OFB on ofb.net and then went page by page through every church record that was publicly available on FamilySearch but there are many, such as Magdala, that I don’t have access to.

I’m seeking out Bartholomaus Wittekind. He married Catharina Barbara Gruner on November 22nd, 1700 and died May 7th, 1946 in Mellingen, Germany.

Er hat es möglicherweise vorliegen und findet doch noch etwas?

Danke für Ihre Antwort! Ich habe Kopien aller OFBs für Mellingen. Ich versuche, Barthols Vater oder Barthols Heimatstadt zu finden, also habe ich jedes OFB durchgesehen, das ich einzeln finden kann. Außerdem habe ich dies über Google Übersetzer ausgeführt, sodass es hoffentlich Sinn macht.
