    Hello Rainer,

I quickly checked the IGI Index website, but can't find Werne there. Sorry! In general this website is very good, so I believe the data just haven't been indexed.

In order to use the IGI Index website, just enter the name of the place in the field "Suchen". In the list that is provided you can find direct links to the Familysearch.org website.

    Best regards,
    Simone
    Viele Grüße

      Hi Simone,

Thanks for the reply! IGI index is known to me, but there are some church records from Germany, which we in Europe must not be accessible to family search, even outside Europe, eg United States and I thought that there are then batch numbers. Although they are our ancestors, we can see the microfiche in appropriate archives, which unfortunately are mostly Catholic and very cumbersome. Understanding this may well not. The Mormons were allowed to film some of this but only with the commitment that they are closed to Europe, that is, in the USA, Canada, etc., where you have German ancestors certainly less than in Germany, one can argue it.

      regards

      Rainer

        hallo,

          Rainer
