Ich suche Hindrik Lesch, und seine Vorfahren [ENG/GERMAN]

Dear german genealogists,

I am searching for Hindrik Lesch, and his ancestors. He married in The Netherlands with Anna Lubbers, in Groningen.
His marriage certificate stated that, he came from Darmstadt-Hessen. His death certificate stated the same.
He fought as a soldier during the Battle of Waterloo. He fought in the "Bataljon National Milition nr. 2", that later became the 8th department of Infantry.
According to his regiment roll, he came from Trebur.

His, regiment roll showed that his parents were:
Father Georg Andries
Mother: Elisabeth Roth

It also showed, that he was born around 1776. Since, i do not have to knowledge to do the german research myself. I was hoping that somebody of this forum, could help me.

Any help is highly appreciated.

NOTE: The surname 'Lesch', could easily be: Loosch, Les, Losch, Loz, Lösch. Maybe there are even more forms of this surname in germany. Also, you can find my sources below:

Liebe deutsche Genealogen,

Ich suche Hindrik Lesch, und seine Vorfahren. Er heiratete in den Niederlanden mit Anna Lubbers im Groningen.
In seiner Heiratsurkunde heißt es, er komme aus Darmstadt-Hessen. Seine Sterbeurkunde gab dasselbe an.
Er kämpfte als Soldat während der Schlacht von Waterloo. Er kämpfte im "Nationalen Milizbataillon Nr. 2", das später zur 8. Abteilung der Infanterie wurde.
Nach seiner Regimentsrolle stammte er aus Trebur.

Seine Regimentsrolle zeigte, dass seine Eltern waren:
Vater: Georg Andries
Mutter: Elisabeth Roth

Es zeigte auch, dass es um 1776 geboren wurde. Ich habe selbst kein Wissen über die deutsche Forschung. Ich hatte gehofft, dass jemand von diesem Forum mir helfen könnte.

Hallo Lesley,

die Kirchenbücher von Trebur befinden sich gegen Bezahlung bei www.archion.de (Zentralarchiv der evangelischen Kirche in Hessen und Nassau => Dekanat Groß-Gerau).
Vielleicht ist ein Archion-Mitglied so nett und würde einmal kurz dort nachschauen, ob er darin vorkommt. Laut Regimentsrolle ist er am 12. April 1776 geboren.

Johann Henrich Lösch, son of Anton Lösch and Anna Maria Krafft, is born on 23 February 1776 in Trebur.

What is interesting though is that on 12 April 1776 (birth date indicated in regiment roll for your Hindrik) a Johann Adam, son of Johann Adam Lösch and Maria Margreta Jacobi, is born in Trebur.

All highly confusing, since you have different parents listed in your information. Hence, I looked at other Lösch trees available in the "Familienbuch" and found a couple Georg Andreas Lösch and Elisabeth Barbara Roth. They had a son Johann Henrich, born on 7 April 1774 and baptized on 8 April 1774. My gut feeling is it would rather be him, despite the fact he was 2 years older.
