Hello!

I am having trouble with searching. One of the family names I'm searching is the May/Mai family. But when I put the name in, example Johann Gottfried May, the forum search omits the MAY portion.

How can I force the forum search to include that word?

If you're searching for full names, you can put them in quotes, like "Johann Gottfried May". That forces the search to search for this exact term, not only parts of it.

Words with only 3 letters are too short for the forum search.
However, you can use Google and restrict it to our website.

Type: site:ahnenforschung.net "May" into the search field and you will only get hits on our site.
