Polemann in Lübeck

Hello! My name is Costanza and I'm from Argentina. My great great grandfather came here in 1889, he was living in Lübeck at that time (from 1877 until 1889).
Is there a way that I can find information about his work there? I found the Lübeck Adressbook, that's why I know he was living there all those years.

it would help, if you shared with us also the first name of your Polemann ancestor.

I assune it was Eduard? The shipping list from 1889 is online on Ancestry, along with wife Amalie and five children. Departure 19 April 1889 in Hamburg, destination Buenos Aires. The pharmacist Eduard Polemann was 52 years old, his wife 47 years.

Interestingly, there is also an 1851 census for Lübeck, showing Eduard Polemann as being born in Gothenburg, Sweden.
