Two Soldiers WK1

Hello Everybody,

I'm hoping your group may be able to help me, thankyou.

I have this photo of two soldiers with hand writing on the back. I'm unable to read German.

The Soldier (xx) looks like my Opa, Adolf Neumann but hoping to confirm this with the writing on the back.

Are you able to obtain any information from the uniform, eg rank etc?

@ mcrichvienna: Wehrkreise gab es erst in der Weimarer Republik, im DR waren es noch die Korpsbezirke und Bezirkskommandos.
