Hello. I attached a picture of the death certificate for Heinrich ROTHENBERGER in 1929. It is from Ancestry.com. The name of his wife is Charlotte Luise Schuchert. I see it indicated they were married 1878 in Zabern. (I found the marriage entry).

I am trying to determine if this couple had any children. This death record says the Civil Registration Office is "Steglitz." Are there records on Archion that would encompass Steglitz?

    Thank you for any input.

    Regards,

    Ellen

Is there any information in the death record that would point me to where to search in this list:

I was trying to attach the list of sub categories named under: Berlin-Steglitz (but the link will not work). It names 11 sub-categories starting with Dreifaltigkeit...

No, Ellen, he was born in Alzey (Hessen) and he married in Zabern (Elsass).

To see the Archion entries, you have to pay a fee (about 20 Euro per month).

I do have an Archion subscription. I wondered if there was any information in the death record that would narrow down my searching in all the Berlin-Steglitz books. For example, does the home address of the deceased point me in a certain direction towards which books would be appropriate for me to search in all the listings under "Berlin-Steglitz?"

(I also have all of the Alzey information and a copy of his marriage record).

I apologize if my inability to speak German makes this more difficult.

            Regards,

            Ellen

Sorry, I do not know, if the home address belongs to Markus, Lukas or Matthäus.
