Actually it is not yet, but maybe it will help a bit later.

One of my direct ancestors line was from Kurland, Russian Empire.
They were Jewish Haarbleichers. It looks like one son of Moses Haarbleicher from Hamburg Altona moved to Jelgava, while his brothers stayed at Germany or later moved to England, France... Some of them converted to Christianity later.

Samien Haarbleicher (~1794-1869) has son Itzig (~1817-189X) (and maybe other kids too) and Itzig had at least 5 children. Part of them stayed at Jelgava, Riga or other places in (now) Latvia. Later some moved to USA and settled there some moved to Moscow. Some descendans of Moscow branch moved to USA and some live in Riga now. But surnames already changed for others.

Because Haarbleicher / Harbleicher / Gaarbleicher / Garbleicher is very rare surname i've found that all of them were somehow related. And maybe one day i'll be able to connect this Ed to the tree too
He could be Itzig's brother but haven't evidence for that yet.

About Haberbier - i thougth it was misprint and he was Haarbleicher too but now i can see that he is another person.

Schade dass mein Uropa nicht auf dieser Liste ist! ;-)


Zusaetzlich zu seinen Zeitungsannoncen fuer Malunterricht und seine Kunsthandlung, habe ich auch einen Artikel gefunden, wo er positiv erwaehnt wurde, im Zusammenhang mit einer Kinder-Vorstellung in Dobbeln in 1907.



Aber da er erst 1876 geboren ist, wird er wahrscheinlich noch zur Schule gegangen sein, als diese Liste zusammengestellt wurde?
