There is written " ab 1907 bzw. 1909" what exactly does it mean: ?
1)there were 2 rails from 1907 till 1909 and from 1909 there was again only 1 rail?
2) there were 2 rails from 1907 or 1909 (we don know exactly) and there was only one from - its not written here?
Now there is only 1 rail right?

Hi Michaela,
there are different kataster numbers in Germany. Looking intio the address book for Chemnitz from 1911 you can find Otto Richard Rothe, An der Aue-Adorfer Eisenbahn Linie, Kat.-Nr. 116, VIII Abt. This means 116 is the so-called "Brandkataster-Nr." (for the fire brigade) and not the number for constructed areas. And when you look at page 500 in this address book (https://digital.slub-dresden.de/werk.../88262/1542/0/) you will find again "An der Aue-Adorfer Eisenbahnlinie". I guess 116 is right not 166.
So the number in the new cadastre (https://geoportal.sachsen.de/cps/ind...a-4f9628db3d7b) does not match the number in the old so-called "Brandkataster-Nr." (An der Aue-Adorfer Eisenbahn Linie, Kat.-Nr. 116, VIII Abt)?

Hi Michaela,
Adressbuch 1933
https://sachsen.digital/werkansicht?tx_dlf[id]=23375&tx_dlf[page]=712
Von der Altchemnitzer Straße zur Flurgrenze Erfenschlag
in the attached map /Source: Geoportal.Sachsen/ you see the Railway, Altchemnitzer Straße (green) and Flurgrenze (limit of land-mark, red) Erfenschlag.
And there is no road! My opinion is that the address "An der Auer Eisenbahn" is only a postal address, the buildings Kat 115 and Kat 116 were located in the landscape, directly beside the rails. These buildings were needed for the block system
You should ask the guys from https://www.fhwe.de/

Hi Paulchen and all,
i agree "An der Auer Eisenbahn" is not the name of the street, but only postal address.
And it was really one of those building near railway in Alt Chemnitz, near Michaelis Kirche.
One building was destroyed and second one may exist, or another building may be standing there, when i look into map.
The photo I have, will be from 1907 or before- there is only one trail.
I will try to ask forum https://www.fhwe.de/ for more information. Thx for tip.
I tried to find some youtube video with camera in train - from Chemnitz to Aue to see ladscape (at least the wall on which the house stood could be seen), but I haven't succeeded yet.
Thank you for your time, you all spent with my problem.
I hope that I will be able to help you when you need to look for something in the Czech Republic.

Hi Michaela,
today I was at "An der Aue-Adorfer Eisenbahnlinie". And bad news: Both buildings I've shown in https://forum.ahnenforschung.net/sho...8&postcount=14 no longer exist. There are many constructional works in that area for the last 20 years. But maybe the pull-down was many years earlier.Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Hi, thank you for remembering.
Progress cannot be stopped
. It should be nice to find that building, but does not matter.
Thanks again for your message.
