    Searching after the kosma family.

    Searching after the Kosma family.

    Trying to find the record for Herbert Kosma born 28/7-1912 he is in this register but where do I find the book?

    His brother Walter Kosma are in this book and it say he got married 14/2 1942 at “Standesamt in Troppau” how to find that record?

    It also say that the father Rudolf Kosma, born 17/10 1875 in Bielitz, how to find that record? His parents was Andreas Kosma and Karolina born Josah?/ch?

    And the mother Marie, born 29/1 1884 are from Johannaburg (Javorník), (Jauernig), Landkreis Freiwaldau. Her parent was Theodor Risy and Marie born Zivny How to find that record?

    This book (Skrochowitz Births 1911-1949) is not online yet, see http://digi.archives.cz/da/permalink...b88f077c:-7ef9.

        Standesamtlich geheiratet 14.2.1942 civil marriage at civil registry office

        His marriage record is still located at the civil registry office of Troppau (cz. Opava).
        By the way, his full name was Walther August Adam Kosma.

          Bielitz (pl. Bielsko-Biała) is now in Poland.

              Is it possible to find information on the parents? Andreas Koma Bräuhausdirektor in Bielitz und dessen Gattin Karolina geboren Josch geboren Bielitz.
              Or Theodor Risy Brauermeister in Johannesberg und dessen Gattin Marie geborenen Ziwna?

                          yes, the wedding at church took place on the same day as the registration of the civil marriage at the registry office.

                          Austria-Hungary did conduct quite extensive censuses (Prussian Silesia did not, only statistical information has survived), and I think that people in the Böhmen, Mähren, Sudetenland subforum can help you out there.
