I hope someone is able to help me. I received a link which I cannot open for Johann Reul born June 30, 1831 in Cronberg and married on June 9, 1857 to Anna Christine Leopold also in Cronberg.

I am searching for his parents who may be Franz Reul and Juliane Gehring.
Franz has a brother which complicates the research.

As we now know, the estimated birth dates of Johann's parents are wrong.

Interesting is that my search in the US does not produce any records for this man. At this point I will include him in my documentation. My expectation in research is to find more details about the family and their life.

the source given for this marriage is LDS film # 1270420 which is the catholic church book of Kronberg. Note that the bride being born in Bavaria was of catholic confession. Her first husband Philipp Braun, son of Andreas Braun and Margaretha née Sachs, was born March 5th 1812 in Kronberg (same source, cf. https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/2:2:SYWV-PBH).

But be aware that transcriptions in FamilySearch are not always reliable:
I found the death record of Anna (Christine) Reul, maiden name Leipold (http://digitalisate.hadis.hessen.de/.../max/00049.jpg) and born in Thundorf in Unterfranken to Caspar Leipold and Margaretha Schmitt. She died Nov. 9th, 1891 (aged 73) in Cronberg and was the widow of the "Schlosser" (Johann) Adam Reul.
