Family De Kuyffer
Dear Madam, dear Sir,
I'm looking for one of my ancestors for quite some time now. His most common name is 'Fredericus Antonius de kuijffer' and he should be born around 1718 (he died in 1790 in Rupelmonde, Belgium at the age of 72, as written on his death certificate). On his death certificate and some of the birth certificates of his children is mentioned that he is "ex Maesyck" (what should mean that he was born in or originated from Maaseik in Belgium). However on his own marriage certificate is mentioned that he originated from 'the meierij of 's Hertogenbosch' in Holland. A search in both countries however resulted in nothing. We then focussed on Germany, since the name should be originating from there. We searched for Küfer, Kief(f)er and other related names, but still we come up with nothing. It is very difficult for us to find resultst, since we live in Belgium.
Could you please help me in finding Fredricus (Antonius)?!
