ein Forscherkollege aus USA sucht nach Lautensack urprünglich in Hessen, jetzt wohl in Braunschweig. Ich poste mal seine Frage - wer kann helfen? Ich leite Antworten gerne weiter oder stelle den Kontakt her. Er scheint sehr krank zu sein, ich hatte vor Jahren mal Kontakt zu ihm und er hat sich jetzt seit langem wieder mal gemeldet. Wäre schön, wenn Ihr mir bzw. ihm weiterhelfen könnt, denn ich habe hier in Niedersachsen noch gar nicht geforscht. Ich kann im Bedarfsfall gerne auch übersetzen.

...On one of the many pages it made reference to another Lautensack of Celle. Turns out the whole family used to live in Braunschweig. But it seems with all these discoveries I am in need of your help. The family was Katholic. They were born in Braunschweig but the earliest record I can obtain here is 1713. I need to search the records from at least 1660-1692. The records exist... But my problem is I don't know who to begin contacting to find them. Any ideas?...
I am also looking for Katholic records in Heldburg concerning the Lautensack family. 1500's-1680 or so. Any ideas? Any help you can offer is appreciated. We are so close to solving the riddle of the Lautensack here, but we lack access to the needed records to do so.
