Auf der Suche nach Informationen über eine Familie Kallas leben in Drozdzenitza / Tuchel (Drożdzienica / Tuchola).

Mein Großvater Paul Kallas wurde 1909 geboren, verheiratet Michalina Kallas (Maliczewska geboren). Jahr 1939 Hochzeit. Kinder: Irene, Anna, Ursula, Margaret, Mieczyslaw (mein Vater).

Tuchel liegt eigentlich in Westpreußen. Meine Mutti ist dort auch geboren.
Habe hier mal eine Adresse. Da es sich um ein Standesamt handelt, bitte in polnisch anschreiben, sonst erfolgt keine Antwort.
Geburts-, Heitats- und Sterbeeinträge für 1944 sollen keine vorhanden sein.

Hello Daniel,

Don't know if this will help but my great grandmother Paulina Kallas was born in Bladowo, Tuchola district in 1842, died 1919. I think she had a sister Rosalia and a brother Andreas. Paulina married my great grandfather Mathias Kathke.

Hi Daniel,
I have very little information about my great grandmother Paulina Kallas. I did make a mistake though in my first message, her brother was named Anton and not Andreas. When we were in the Tuchola area in 2008, we visited the Catholic church of Christ the King in Jelencz and noticed that the cemetery had a lot of Kallas grave stones, indeed one of the church caretakers was herself named Kallas, who told us that there is still a Kallas family farming in the area.

I do not recall seeing a Jan Kallas during my own research, but will let you know if I do so in the future. Maybe a look at the LDS ( Mormon ) film records will help you.
